The idea is to get close and candid, using a mix of long and wide angle shots, of Giovanni and his crew, very much a fun spirited session with lots of action, and excitement including some quieter candid fun moments… close ups of hands, ropes, winches and various equipment, water spray, wind, waves… team moments!

All shot very unposed/unscripted, reportage style… free flowing, un-intrusive…

Very loose shot list and scenarios to possibly include Maserati Car on land, with Giovanni looking out onto the sea with Tri-maran in background if possible..? also shots inside the car (Giovanni Drivers seat) and maybe shots of him taking some ropes and his sea kit from boot etc, linking the car to the sea experience… Car wheels driving through puddles on wet road… splashes… (many more ideas to come)

Then Perhaps a shot of him driving along winding Italian coastline from drone. (this can also be filmed without him so as not keep him too long, the actual shoot time with Giovanni and crew will be very fast, we wont need more than a couple of hours…)

Timing of shoot very important, best to shoot at sunrise or sunset for strong directional lighting!

Lighting and photography style, to be shot with a more artistic direction, lots of lens flair, strong impactful imagery, plenty of movement, water, elements all coming into play!... Dynamic, artful, atmospheric… with a strong high contrast B & W treatment…

Also shot along side the stills shoot, we will capture an action motion teaser for web and social media usage… the footage will cut from sailing to driving back and forth, combining both passions of driving and sailing… Maserati can obviously also use this video on their social channels, we’d love that!
